Gykores update
Fabrizio Romano has given an update on on Arsenal's pursuit of Sporting striker Viktor Gykeres.
The former Championship bagsman is believed to have an £85m release clause.
It's claimed that Sporting are hoping that release clause can be met in order to let him leave.
For Viktor Gyökeres, Sporting still want the release clause, they want a package of €100m (£85m).
This is an expensive deal & this is why Arsenal have shown interest in recent months, but at the moment, are still not advancing.
We know that sometimes, in the market, the price can change. In June, you have a price & then in July, in August, it can change.

Smith Rowe could be sold after a season in the shadows under manager Mikel Arteta.
Crystal Palace are among the clubs to take an interest but the playmaker is quite keen to stay.

The England international only made 13 appearances in the Prem without scoring a goal.

Wilshere's England advice
Arsenal hero Jack Wilshere told SunSport England manager Gareth Southgate has to build his team around Manchester United ace Kobbie Mainoo:
Kobbie Mainoo has shown he is the player that England need to build their midfield — and their team — around.
That’s what I felt as it looked like we were slipping to defeat.
I know he was not on the pitch when our goals went in.
But until that unbelievable comeback, Mainoo was our best player.
He has a fearlessness and an instinct to do the right things at the right times that seemed to be lacking for so much of the game.
Mainoo alongside Declan Rice gives England better structure. In theory, at least, because for so long it didn’t look like that.

Gyokeres 'not close'
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano explained Arsenal are not close to signing Sporting Lisbon star Victor Gyokeres despite reports to the contrary.
I am told this is not true, at the moment, Arsenal are not at that advanced stages of their negotiation for Gyokeres.
They made contact on the player side already months ago, it was between April and May.
They are also informed about the conditions of the €100million (£85m) release clause, but also the cost of the deal in terms of salary and all the rest.
They have still not decided what they really want to do in that position or who is the priority target.
They want to take their time to assess the options, so at the moment with Gyokeres, it is not something imminent or close, but it’s an option.
